The lovely Avery from Red Rocket Panda tagged my in the Anonymous Bookaholics tag on their blog and for once in my life I’m actually going to do this reply in a timely manner.
I guess mostly it makes me feel happy and excited that I get to experience something new but also because it’ll look pretty on my shelves. Speaking of, it allows me to spend some time tidying my shelves too.
Not too often but also too often. I have a subscription box every month, but buying outside of that I do my best to keep it to only one ore two.
Bookstore – I enjoy browsing and talking to my friends. But unfortunately I can’t always buy everything in bookstores because of the cost.
Yeah of course – Deansgate Waterstones. The staff there are so lovely and host bookish events for us bloggers often.
Honestly? Really only my favourite author – especialy if its a limited edition. As I get FairyLoot I try my best to not pre-order as their box usually includes books I’m looking forward too.
I fee like this comes under how often do I buy new books. But I wouldn’t like to spend more than £20 in one shopping trip and that would be me done for the month.
Like its very big but also I need to start the Down the TBRWishlist Hole weekly meme thing to help sort it out so maybe this time next year it’ll be more realistic. I did recently create a smaller one ready for my birthday.
This is so difficult. Definitely one of the many witchy books I’ve added so I can start learning more about witchcraft. S. by J.J. Abrams and Doug Dorst – the hardback because its super pretty, and of course The Queen of Ieflaria.
The Queen of Ieflaria is so cute!
Buying new books definitely gives me strong feelings of excitement! And I DEFINITELY prefer bookstores over online book shopping. I get a better sense of which books I ACTUALLY want when I hold them in my hands. xD
I’ve always been curious about FairyLoot. Do you like it? I mean obviously, yes, because you subscribe to it, but why did you choose it over other book subscriptions? Is it worth the money?
Lindsi @ Do You Dog-ear?
As I live in the UK and its a UK Sub Box its what is best for money for me as its always Fantasy books and thats what I read. Ive yet to have a book I’m not happy with.
The additional items can be hit and miss but mostly I’m a fan
Good to know! I also wasn’t aware that it was a UK subscription box! The price makes more sense now. Thanks for letting me know. :)
I love this tag :)
My favourite bookshop is my local Waterstones in Newcastle, closely followed by Barter Books in Alnwick.

I think I need to visit more bookstores that aren’t big chains. but thatalso means leaving my house more…
Glad you enjoyed doing the tag! Also, I didn’t know JJ Abrams had written a book??
