Spooky Q+A: Tim Lebbon

Tim Lebbon

For the month of October I’m hosting Spooks and Tea where we aim to consume as much horror, or spooky, books as possible.

I also wanted to do something a little different and fun this year so I reached out to a few authors to see if any would be interested in taking part, most of them agreed to do a Q&A with the Book Club! I have never felt more blessed.

If you’re a member of Books and Tea you’ll have been given the chance to ask these authors questions, as well as getting to see their answers early.

It is now time for me to share the third one which is the Tim Lebbon! I’ve seen so many of his books in work all the time and always thinking how I need to pick them up, when I emailed him I did so 100% not expecting a reply because I’m just little ol’ me but he did! Keep reading to see what we asked him.

It is now time for me to share the second one which is the amazing Rhiannon Frater! I was introduced to her work in my early blogging years and I think she’s a staple to the horror world tbh, and I love the fact she’ll sell personalised signed copies of her work on her etsy which makes us international bookworms very happy! Keep reading to see what we asked her.

Meet the Members

I run an online book club called Books and Tea and I love it dearly. I mean obviously I do or I wouldn’t still be running it.

I also wouldn’t be able to run it without the members as their activity within the club and their love for it too keeps it active and running smoothly.

I’m big on supporting the members and showing my appreciation for them and what better way to do so than to have guest posts from them – and thats what this feature will be.

For now I’m posting one every two weeks and I’ve provided the members with 4 open questions to answer and then a space to talk about anything they’d like – something they’re a fan of, something they do outside of the book club, or something they’re passionate about.

Why these books deserve their own Funko Pops | Anthony from Keep Reading Forward

Why these books deserve their own Funko Pops | written by Anthony from Keep Reading Forward.

As you may know I’m away for a long weekend as a birthday treat so I very kindly asked the #NewBloggers group if anyone would like to guest post whilst I was gone.

One of my BooksandTea moderators – Anthony – said he’d love to take part but wasn’t sure on the topic. I can’t think of Anthony without thinking about his love for Funkos so I suggested this topic which he loved.

Keep reading to find out which books he thinks should have Funko Pops!

5 Reasons Why Love in Books is Overrated | written by Clo from Book Dragons 24/7

As you may know I’m away for a long weekend as a birthday treat so I very kindly asked the #NewBloggers group if anyone would like to guest post whilst I was gone.

The lovely Clo stepped up with a few ideas she’d happily write and “5 reasons why love in books is overrated” was one that stood out to me as I was intrigued to hear her thoughts as its something I agree with.

Keep reading to find out her reasons why!
