Embracing the Wolf (Ritter Werewolves, #2)Demon Slave (Shadow Quest, #2)
Embracing the Wolf by Catherine Bybee and Demon Slave by Kiersten Fay are the sequels to two free ebooks I picked up simply because they were free, I ended up enjoying them so much that I’m now pining for the second books!

Embracing the Wolf: Werewolves come in two different categories, good and evil. Although Richard Ritter’s family has encouraged him to make the change for years, he never considered embracing his wolf until he meets Kate Davis. One night with her however, and his life changes forever.
After a horrifying evening of violence, Kate Davis’s life is turned upside down. Richard offers more than security; he offers her passion, something she hasn’t experienced in years. Falling in love with him was easy, but once she learns what he becomes every month her fear of the unknown threatens their future.
Demon Slave: Marik Radkov believed the only thing left from his tortured past was the physical scars that adorned his body. But when he is stranded on a foreign planet, and held captive by an enticing blue eyed stranger, he is forced to face his past once more. To survive, he must subdue his lust, while keeping the mysterious and sexy woman from snaring his heart.
After escaping a violent assault of her home planet, Princess Nadua has been hiding on the cold planet Undewla for four hundred years, all but losing hope that her people will return for her. When the threat of a rebellion arises, Nadua must decide if she can trust the ruthless demon who strokes a desire she thought was long dead.

Batman and SonOrchid, Volume 1

I’m not sure why I don’t own that many graphic novels, well other than their price so I kind of went on a wishlist hunt for some I’d fancy, Batman and Son by Grant Morrison sounds pretty gorram interesting and Orchid by Tom Morello is beautifully amazing so I really want my own copy.
Batman and Son synopsis: Comic legends Grant Morrison (All Star Superman, Seven Soldiers) and Andy Kubert (Ultimate X-Men, 1602) join forces to bring you an unforgettable tale of the Dark Knight. After Batman faces down an army of winged horrors in a no-holds barred, bone-crunching superbrawl among the treasures of London’s Pop Art Museum, Batman receives the greatest shock of his life when he discovers that he has a son. Sparks fly when the new addition to the Bat-family is introduced to Batman’s adopted son, Robin, the Boy Wonder. Which one will be chosen to carry on the legacy as Gotham’s protector?
Orchid synopsis: When the seas rose, genetic codes were smashed. Human settlements are ringed by a dense wilderness from which ferocious new animal species prey on the helpless. The high ground belongs to the rich and powerful that overlook swampland shantytowns from their fortress-like cities. Iron-fisted rule ensures order and allows the wealthy to harvest the poor as slaves. Delve into the first chapter of Orchid, the tale of a teenage prostitute who learns that she is more than the role society has imposed upon her, from the mind of musician Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave, The Nightwatchman).

The Summoning (Darkest Powers, #1)Bitten (Women of the Otherworld, #1)

Yet more books by Kelley Armstrong, this time it’s The Summoning and Bitten, I just really want to read all her books!
GR synopsis for The Summoning: My name is Chloe Saunders and my life will never be the same again.
All I wanted was to make friends, meet boys, and keep on being ordinary. I don’t even know what that means any more. It all started on the day that I saw my first ghost – and the ghost saw me.
Now there are ghosts everywhere and they won’t leave me alone. To top it all off, I somehow got myself locked up in Lyle House, a “special home” for troubled teens. Yet the home isn’t what it seems. Don’t tell anyone, but I think there might be more to my house mates than meets the eye. The question is, whose side are they on? it’s up to me to figure out the dangerous secrets behind Lyle House…before its skeletons come back to haunt me.

GR synopsis for Bitten: Elena Michaels seems like the typically strong and sexy modern woman, She lives with her architect boyfriend, writes for a popular newspaper, and works out at the gym. She’s also a werewolf.

Elena has done all she can to assimilate to the human world, but the man whose bite changed her existence forever, and his legacy, continue to haunt her. Thrown into a desperate war for survival that tests her allegiance to a secret clan of werewolves, Elena must recon with who, and what, she is in this passionate, page-turning novel.

Soulless (Parasol Protectorate, #1)
I’m a sucker for Vampires, always have been. Throw Steampunk in there? Yes please give me, Soulless by Gail Carriger.
GRFirst, she has no soul. Second, she’s a spinster whose father is both Italian and dead. Third, she was rudely attacked by a vampire, breaking all standards of social etiquette.
Where to go from there? From bad to worse apparently, for Alexia accidentally kills the vampire – and then the appalling Lord Maccon (loud, messy, gorgeous, and werewolf) is sent by Queen Victoria to investigate.
With unexpected vampires appearing and expected vampires disappearing, everyone seems to believe Alexia responsible. Can she figure out what is actually happening to London’s high society? Will her soulless ability to negate supernatural powers prove useful or just plain embarrassing? Finally, who is the real enemy, and do they have treacle tart?

Alice in Zombieland (The White Rabbit Chronicles, #1)

Is there anyone who doesn’t want Alice in Zombieland by Gena Showalter?GRShe won’t rest until she’s sent every walking corpse back to its grave. Forever. Had anyone told Alice Bell that her entire life would change course between one heartbeat and the next, she would have laughed. From blissful to tragic, innocent to ruined? Please. But that’s all it took. One heartbeat. A blink, a breath, a second, and everything she knew and loved was gone. Her father was right. The monsters are real…. To avenge her family, Ali must learn to fight the undead. To survive, she must learn to trust the baddest of the bad boys, Cole Holland. But Cole has secrets of his own, and if Ali isn’t careful, those secrets might just prove to be more dangerous than the zombies….

I wish I could go back and do a thousand things differently.

I’d tell my sister no.
I’d never beg my mother to talk to my dad.
I’d zip my lips and swallow those hateful words.
Or, barring all of that, I’d hug my sister, my mom and my dad one last time.
I’d tell them I love them.
I wish… Yeah, I wish.
