The #PenguinYearbook Collection

penguin yearbookAt YALC this year Penguin put together a really awesome Yearbook that had samplers of 15 of their books. I really liked this idea as not only did the book itself look lovely but it was easier to carry around than 15 samplers.

They also hosted a giveaway that any YALC attendee could enter by uploading a photograph of the Yearbook with the #PenguinYearbook and tagging their account – @penguinplatform.

#YALC | Wrap Up

Young Adult Lit Con| Wrap Up
This is my second year attending YALC, but I didn’t make any posts about it last year because I felt so very overwhelmed and focused on my blog move. This year I’m already on my second. Will there be a third? Possibly.

I’ll be talking about my weekend in this post but if you’d like to visit their website you can do here – I’m likely to attend next year too!

I do highly recommend going, even if its just for one day!

#NYALitFest – Preston

NYALitFest | Northern Literary Festival in Preston
This is about the second NYALitFest that has been held. I was super excited to see them announce another than I could attend. I unfortunately missed the first due to being on a plane.

I’ll be talking about my day in this post but if you’d like to visit their website you can do here – also they’ll be hosting another in March 2019!

If you haven’t had the chance to attend either of the events I really would recommend trying the next one. I love the fact its in the North so it was much easier for me to attend and it was a free event too!

#OrionOnTour – Manchester

Orion on Tour | Publishing Event in Manchester
Waking up one morning to an email from Zabiba at Orion with an invite to an event they were holding really made my day.

Not going to lie at first I was sad because I assumed it would be in London and I wouldn’t be able to go but on closer inspection it wasnt! It was local and I would be there!
image002First of all how lovely is the invite? I really liked the design they chose but also added excitement because I had no idea what authors would be there but at least the Gollancz logo was there at the bottom!

So for those of you who don’t know prior to this blog I used to blog under the same name on blogger (it now redirects here so, sorry, but you can’t check it out) from 2011.

I thought it would be interesting to go back and view my first ever haul posts to see what books I got and whether or not I ever read them.

Previous haul rewinds: one | two | three | four
