Steam Wishlist Clean Up (13)

Since Steam summer sales are arriving soon, Tecsie decided to clean up their Steam wishlist a little bit by writing a Steam Wishlist Clean Up post which was inspired by Lia’s Down the TBR Hole book blogger meme.

I really liked this idea and asked Tecsie if I could take part too so here I am. Though with a slight difference, Tecsie managed to go through a lot more of her wishlist in one go. I already know that will not be the case for me. So you’ll likely see a few of these.

Sit back, enjoy, and browse some video games with me.

Starting Point: 170

I love doing these posts and how excited y’all are for them too! We’ve done enough to know whats happening now so lets dive right in. Sorry for not posting last weekend, I know people actually enjoy this but I chose to have a rest weekend whilst I was away at the CSGO Major.

I didn’t realise that Far Cry 5 had such mixed reviews, but given that I’ve not bought any of these games or played any I’ll definitely be starting with an earlier one.

I actually think I already own Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon on the ubisoft platform so I’m going to remove this to avoid  spending extra money.

Omg just re-looking at the Resident Evil 7 biohazard page is making me go YES! I need it. It looks good and I 100% don’t play enough horror and um Resident Evil 7 Beginning Hour is literally the start of the previous game andits free to play… why is this on my wishlist? I guess I’ll download this now ready for October.

Am I cheating again and knowingly adding 4 I know I want in one section? Maybe.

Its only been a week since Telltale have announced their closure so I hope their games will still stay on Steam? I’ve not heard anything about them getting taken down but you never know really. I don’t even have the money to buy them all now so hopefully Batman can stay on my wishlist.

Prey is made by the same companies who put out the Dishonored series and as I’m a big fan of how that turned out and it looks visually very awesome I’m in. Its set in space adn there are some very spooky looking monsters/aliens. Thief is a game that comes to me highly recommended because of my love for Dishonored! Its a stealth game that has very similar aesthetics to what people compare it too. I love challenging myself in most games to take sneaky approaches – mostly because you usually get a bonus.

Lastly in this section we have the godly Dishonored 2 which, honestly, I thought I already owned. So this is going to my priority list! I’m very excited to be able to play as Emily!

I recently watched Marzia and Felix play some of an Overcooked game and I instantly knew this wasn’t the game for me, so check their video out to get an idea of how it works. Goodbye Overcooked.

Hello Neighbour is a stealthy horror game where you have to sneak into your neighbours house to find out what they’re hiding in their basement, but get this, the neighbour learns from your actions so it’ll get harder if he catches you. Eeek, I’m scared but also tempted.

Venturing onto the Toren steam page had me a little apprehensive as Steam tells me its not relevant to other games I’ve played but dude look at it! It looks so beautiful and is made by a Brazilian indie company. You play as Moonchild and climb the tower facing puzzles and monsters on the way!

I was just looking through the reviews for Deponia Doomsday and basically… gotta play this series in orde rebcauseits a continuing story so I removed this one! (But I added the first so I wont cover that when I get to it in the list)

I’m fairly certain I added Metro Exodus from E3 or something. Relooking at it and I’m still like yup this looks good. So it can stay! Also, oops remember when I said I was going to do a post on E3? Yikes, that never happened. This isn’t out for another four months anyway and I dont pre-order games.

Dead by Daylight is a 4v1 multiplayer where you either aim to kill the survivors or escape from the Killer. This is one of those games I’m keeping on my wishlist as I think it would be fun to play with my friends, just at the right price.
15Lastly we have Negligee and if you’re suprised by the look of this one then you must be new here. You’re a manager of the Negligee shop alongside three women. Its a visual novel dating game with different routes. And you can also patch it to make it have NSFW content yikes. At £10.29 I definitely would not purchase this but if I ever saw it for less than £2 I probably would for laughs.

Stats at the end of this post

Priority: 1 / 10
Keep: 8 / 10
Remove: 5 / 10
Steam Wishlist total: 135

We did it! I hope you like this post. Please let me know if you love any of these games or think you could be interested in any. I really enjoy doing these type of posts as I think it really shows non-gamers the wide choice of games out there because its not often I’ll play those that are big in the media.

  1. You should probably change the intro of thoses a bit .. Summer steam sales is far over – ahaha!

Wait what? a resident evil free to play ?! my guess is it’d probably wouldn’t be in for my mac/mac’s capacity…mh. crap. but also I STILL haven’t moved much in the one I have on the wii, so probably not a good idea ahah

Ohh no, telltale is out ? I overheard the convo but missed a part .. I loved some of thoses.. As GTA vice city is on steam still, probably they wont remove thoses.
Having worked in a sex shop before, id totally play the hell of negligee – though not the nsfw part .. xD

  2. Resident Evil 7 is sooo creepy! Is was the perfect come back for the series. So creepy and scary and the atmosphere was insane! Dishonoured is one of my fave games and no 2 didn’t disappoint!
