Steam Wishlist Clean Up (7)

Since Steam summer sales are arriving soon, Tecsie decided to clean up their Steam wishlist a little bit by writing a Steam Wishlist Clean Up post which was inspired by Lia’s Down the TBR Hole book blogger meme.

I really liked this idea and asked Tecsie if I could take part too so here I am. Though with a slight difference, Tecsie managed to go through a lot more of her wishlist in one go. I already know that will not be the case for me. So you’ll likely see a few of these.

Sit back, enjoy, and browse some video games with me.

Starting Point: 170

I love doing these posts and how excited y’all are for them too! We’ve done enough to know whats happening now so lets dive right in.

Backstage Pass and Dandelion are more visual novel I know about after watching Dodger play through a bunch of it. I loved her playthroughs so much and yes I want to 100% them myself too. Especially Dandelion as its about falling in love with cute catboys.

Catlateral Damage is a game I do wanna play but its definitely no priority. You get to be a cat and the aim is to make as much damage as possible.

Lastly we have 1 more visual novel, this time a horror one called Bad End. I’m not super into the art but hey, I’m happy to try a horror VN out.

Okay so I’ve never played a Far Cry game, how ridiculous is that? And I know I really want to play some/all of these games but you know what? I’m gonna go ahead and remove Far Cry 4 and probably start with 3 instead.

Just Cause is another series that I’ve never dabbled in. Unlike with Far Cry, I do plan to keep Just Case 3 on the list simply because I feel like I’ll enjoy this more than 2 as its newer.

Why do I want to play both of these game series? Because you get to blow shit up!!!!

I’ve literally never heard a bad thing about the Mad Max game and I loved the movie so yup its staying.

Looking back at Deus Ex: Mankind Divided reivews I can see clearly that yes, yes we are divided about this game. I can mostly see people it isn’t optimised very well with bad FPS. I also haven’t played any of the Deus Ex games so I’ll remove this for now too and one day figure out the best starting point.

Okay last two for this week. First up is Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments and as I already kept one of these games on my wishlist in a previous post then I’m going to remove this one. I can’t play two at once.

Divinty: Original Sin …wow it looks very Diablo-esque. It looks fun and definitely speaks to many areas of my interests but lately I haven’t been playing many of these type of games and if my boyfriend did want to play these type of games again then I’m sure we’re likely to return to D3. Bye.

Stats at the end of this post

Priority: 2 / 10
Keep: 4 / 10
Remove: 4 / 10
Steam Wishlist total: 157

Yay this was fun. I’m glad I finally removed a few. Did I make the correct decisions? Do you recommend any of these?

  1. If you ever do want to try the Divinity games, I’ve heard the second game has a lot better writing than the first one and they’re not tied together by plot in any way :D (you can romance a skeleton among other things)

  2. I’ve never played a Far Cry game either! I want to play 5 mostly just because there’s a bear in it that can be your friend. Apparently I’m 5.

  3. I’m not a huge gamer but I have done a few visual novels and I enjoyed them! Also one of my favourite games to play when I need something to keep me entertained is Refunct. You basically have to parkour to different platforms and find switches and things to bring more up from the ground until you’ve found all the platforms. Sounds boring but it’s addictive!
