Graphic Novels are growing…

Don’t forget to visit Ava’s posts as she is the host of this great monthly check in with our review copies.

I had planned to really make a dent in things this month but I’m not sure how well I did so lets find out together.

Last month I made a spreadsheet to help me keep track of things and be able to update my graph easier.

Now lets finally get a side by side comparisson of the end of May (left) and June (right):

I’m getting somewhere…

Lets start with the good! I’v read Sea Witch by Sarah Henning, sunfish by Shelby Eileen, Sheets by Brenna Thummler, Grace & Fury by Tracy Banghart, and Ash Princess by Laura Sebastian.

Click the titles to see Goodread pages.

On top of this I also posted reviews of :

Void Trip by Ryan O’Sullivan ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | No. 1 with a Bullet by Jacob Semahn ⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Ash Princess by Laura Sebastian ⭐⭐⭐⭐ | The Lost Path by Amelie Flechais ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | The Goddess Collection by Ailie Wallace ⭐⭐⭐

Click the titles to see my thoughts on them.

And I have also scheduled reviews for sunfish by Shelby Eileen and Grace & Fury by Tracy Banghart

Click the titles to see Goodread pages.

So I’m only behind on writing 4 reviews which isn’t too bad and I’ll probably get them done this weekend.

However, I also accepted a poetry book for reivew (SCattered Constellations) and went on another graphic novel haul on NetGalley.

The Tarot Cafe Manga Collection | Skin & Earth HC | Herakles Book 1 | Mae | The Wellspring Trilogy: The Crystal Key | Scattered Constellations

In July I’ll be focusing on getting all the Graphic Novels read for Books and Tea GN Read-a-thon as well as finishing up Spinning Silver. Other than that I’m not very hopeful on getting other books finished due to focusing on my YALC tbr as its YALC month and I’ve barely made a dent…

  1. Good job getting all those books read!

I don’t have any ARCs to read at the moment. I read four this month along with several other books. I’m waiting to see whether I get approved for a couple of books on Netgalley and Eidelweiss before I request more. I guess I’m a perfectionist who likes to keep as close to 100% on my feedback ratio as possible, LOL.

  2. It’s so crazy (but very smart) that you have graphs for your ARCs. I don’t think I could ever be that organized. I’m slowly catching up with reading and reviewing all the ARCs I have. I made the amateur mistake of requesting a whole bunch not realizing that I’d actually be accepted for so many of them. Good luck with the rest of your reading!

  3. I downloaded Skin&Earth as well when you linked it in the book club :D I’m excited for graphic novels in July, I hope we both get a lot out of the way…

  4. Ahh good luck with your challenge and all this great progress!! I’m glad you liked Ash Princess, I loooved the world for that one (aND THE COVER😍).

  5. I signed up for SO many arcs in July. I even had to make myself a schedule to get them all read in time. haha!! Good luck with all your books <3

  6. This is an awesome post – I have never been big into graphic novels, but posts like this always make me want to change my mind.

  7. I think I’m doing ok on my ARCs! I still have quite a few to read, but, I managed to not request any books in June so /that/ certainly helps my feedback ratio!😀 I’m also trying my hardest this month to read a few ARCs. Gotta get that feedback ratio up! :P

  8. Lauren I really enjoyed Ash Princess! How did you create your graph? Yet to join State of the ARC but will definitely be participating in July.
