Q. This Sunday in the U.S is  Mother’s Day, in celebration, what are some of your favourite books with strong mother/child relationships?
Well, this is actually a tricky one for me as I’m actually a lot closer to my Dad than my Mum so books that are a focus of strong Mother/Child relationships are normally not a choice of mine. So I’ve sat here for a while now and instead thought about where the relationship may not be the main point of the story but just present and I still can’t seem to recall any that have it. The only book I can think of with a prominent Mother/child relationship is The Illustrate Mum by Jacqueline Wilson but it isn’t exactly a strong one.
